In crop areas, Diuron 80 WP can be used to control the following weeds: barnyardgrass, madrone, quinoa, amaranth, amaranthus, ragweed, alyssum, petunia, field scabious, sickle pea, bluegrass, sourdock, fescue, dog fennel, fiddlehead fern, foxtail, rattail, metatarsal, johnsongrass, marigolds, and sedge.

Algae and weed control

Diuron can be used as both a pre-emergence and post-emergence control of weeds and crops. It is most effective when applied to early stage weeds prior to weed seed germination and is not effective on mature weeds.
