Introduction

2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid is absorbed by the leaves of weeds and transmitted to meristem. Weeds will grow uncontrollably and unsustainably after absorbing the liquid, leading to stem curling, leaf wilting and eventually plant death.

Application

2,4-D amine is particularly effective before growing legumes such as peas, lentils and chickpeas.

It is often used in the fields of rice, wheat, corn and other cereal crops to control dicotyledonous broad-leaved weeds and gramineous weeds at germination stage, including barnyardgrass, common polygon, lambsquares, dandelion, etc

Note

2,4-D amine volatilizes a lot at high temperature and is easy to diffuse and drift.

2 4-D Dimethyl amine salt has strong absorbability, and the used sprayer must be fully washed to avoid sensitive crops such as cotton and vegetables.
